Getting Started

IP Monitoring is a comprehensive uptime monitoring service that helps you track the availability and performance of your websites, servers, and APIs. We check your monitors at regular intervals and alert you immediately when they go down, helping you minimize downtime and maintain service quality.

We support multiple monitor types:
  • HTTP/HTTPS: Monitor website availability and response time
  • PING: Check server connectivity using ICMP
  • PORT: Monitor specific TCP ports
  • KEYWORD: Verify specific content exists on your page
  • SSL: Monitor SSL certificate expiration

Creating a monitor is simple:
  1. Go to the Monitors page
  2. Click "Add New Monitor"
  3. Enter a friendly name and URL
  4. Select monitor type (HTTP, PING, etc.)
  5. Set check interval (30s, 1min, 5min, etc.)
  6. Click "Save" and we'll start monitoring immediately

The minimum check interval depends on your subscription plan. Free plans start at 5 minutes, while premium plans offer intervals as low as 30 seconds. More frequent checks provide faster detection of downtime but consume more monitoring resources.
Alerts & Notifications

To setup Telegram alerts:
  1. Open Telegram and search for @BotFather
  2. Send /newbot and create your personal bot
  3. Copy the Bot Token provided
  4. Start a chat with your bot and get your Chat ID
  5. Go to Settings → Telegram Alerts tab
  6. Enter your Bot Token and Chat ID
  7. Click "Test" to verify, then "Save"

Each alert includes:
  • Monitor name and type
  • URL or IP address
  • Current status (UP/DOWN)
  • Timestamp in your timezone
  • Error message or status code
  • Response time (if applicable)

Yes! Go to Settings → Profile tab and select your timezone (UTC, IST, EST, PST, etc.). All timestamps in notifications and throughout the application will be displayed in your chosen timezone.

No. We only send alerts when a monitor transitions from UP to DOWN (incident start) and from DOWN to UP (incident resolved). You won't receive repeated alerts for the same ongoing incident.
Monitoring & Reports

Uptime is calculated as: (Successful Checks / Total Checks) × 100. For example, if we performed 100 checks and 98 were successful, your uptime is 98%. We provide uptime statistics for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, and 1 year periods.

Data retention depends on your plan:
  • Free Plan: 7 days of detailed logs
  • Basic Plan: 30 days of detailed logs
  • Pro Plan: 90 days of detailed logs
  • Enterprise: 365 days of detailed logs
Older data (>7 days) is automatically aggregated into hourly summaries to optimize storage while maintaining historical trends.

Response time is the duration from when we send a request to your server until we receive a complete response. We track minimum, average, and maximum response times, helping you identify performance degradation before it becomes critical.

Yes! Visit the Incidents page to view all historical incidents including start time, resolution time, duration, root cause, and affected monitors. You can filter by status, date range, and monitor.
Account & Billing

Go to Pricing, select your desired plan, and complete the payment. Your account will be upgraded immediately, and you can start using enhanced features right away.

We accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and digital wallets through Razorpay. All transactions are encrypted and secure.

Yes. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Yes! Our free plan allows you to monitor up to 3 websites with 5-minute intervals. No credit card required. Perfect for testing our service before upgrading.
Security & Privacy

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including secure password hashing, SQL injection prevention, and regular security audits. Your monitor data is isolated and only accessible by your account.

Currently, all monitors are checked from our primary location in Mumbai, India (103.179.107.18). We're working on adding multiple global monitoring locations in future updates for better geographic coverage.

Telegram bot tokens are stored in our database and never exposed in client-side code or logs. Each user has their own personal bot, ensuring complete isolation. We recommend creating a dedicated bot just for monitoring alerts.

No. We never sell or share your monitoring data with third parties. We only use essential services (database hosting, payment processing) that are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Technical Support

False alerts are rare but can happen due to network issues or temporary server problems. Check your Incident History to see the exact error. If you're getting frequent false alerts, try increasing the timeout value or contact support for help optimizing your monitor configuration.

Yes, but you'll need to whitelist our monitoring server IP address (103.179.107.18) in your firewall rules. For PORT monitors, ensure the specific port is accessible from our IP.

Go to the Monitors page, find your monitor, and click the pause button. Paused monitors won't be checked and won't send alerts. This is useful during planned maintenance windows.

Our uptime calculations are based on actual check results. For example, with 5-minute intervals, we perform 288 checks per day. Even a brief 5-minute outage is recorded, giving you accurate uptime metrics. Note that our monitoring accuracy depends on our server's connectivity and your check interval.
